Data Deletion Instructions
Bluewand users and people whose information may have been processed through connected Meta channels can request deletion of their personal data or connected app data.
How to request deletion
Send an email to privacy@bluewand.io with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Include the information below so we can verify and process the request.
- Your full name.
- The email address or phone number associated with the request.
- Your company or workspace name, if applicable.
- The connected channel involved, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook.
- A short description of the data you want deleted.
For Bluewand workspace users
If you are an authorized workspace user, you can also remove connected Meta integrations from your workspace settings. This stops future data access from that channel. To delete historical workspace data, email us using the request process above.
For Meta users
If your data reached Bluewand through WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook messaging with a business that uses Bluewand, send us the request details above. We may need to coordinate with the business that controls the workspace before deleting customer conversation records.
What we delete
After verification, we will delete or anonymize personal data we are responsible for, including account profile details, connected channel identifiers, integration tokens, and personal information stored in workspace records where deletion is legally and contractually permitted.
Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute resolution, or audit obligations. Where full deletion is not permitted, we will restrict, anonymize, or minimize the retained data where practical.
Response timeline
We will acknowledge deletion requests after receipt and aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, unless additional time is required because of request complexity, legal obligations, or verification requirements.
